I am a writer, photographer and speaker based on the England/Wales border at Knighton, Powys.

My most recent book, "Offa's Dyke - the beginners' guide" is only little, at 26 A5 pages, but covers a big, big subject.

Previous, and more substantial, works include "Hay - Landscape, Literature and the town of Books" published May 2014, and featured at that year's Hay Festival; “Offa’s Dyke – a journey on words and pictures” published in 2006, and “Natur y flwyddyn”, 2007.  I have recently given illustrated talks on my books in Presteigne, Rhayader, Llandrindod Wells and Newtown, all in Powys, and in Oswestry and Bishop's Castle, Shropshire.

I have published and sold more than 100,000 postcards of Offa's Dyke and the Welsh Marches, and you may have seen my pictures used to advertise Olympus cameras and lenses.

Drop me a line if you want to know more, or to book me as a speaker. There is a "Contact" link in the header bar above.
